Introduction
Overnewton Castle has been host to thousands of weddings over the years and we pride ourselves on our experience from these. Elegant rooms, stunning architecture and breathtaking gardens ensure our functions and events are memorable ones. Delicious food and attentive staff are also regularly commented on. Ceremonies and receptions can be held on the property which are accompanied by the stunning surrounds for your photos thereafter.
Also available for other functions such as birthdays, anniversaries, bridal showers, christenings, milestone celebrations and much more.
Weddings:
Available to have both ceremony and reception on the property with 4 ½ acres of gardens for photography. A stunning spiral staircase is by far the stand out for your photo opportunities. Pre dinner drinks and canapés can be held in the elaborate Victorian room or in the gardens. Onsite accommodation is available for the newlyweds with a beautiful double spa bath overlooking the valley.
Conferences:
Just 15 minutes from the CBD and 5 minutes from the Melbourne airport, our location is convenient. From 10-150 people the Castle can cater for a range of sizes and events. 200 free onsite car spaces and accommodation facilities available. The array of catering options including off-site catering, are suitable for all and can be tailored to suit your needs. Break out rooms are available along with the 4.5hrs acres of gardens. Seminars, business meetings, awards nights or gala dinners are all suitable for these spaces.

Mad Hatters Parties are not a rarity at the castle so if you are looking for a venue with a unique twist or a traditional turn on usual celebrations we can help. The stunning dining room can cater for up to 150 guests or we have smaller rooms that we can serve afternoon tea in for up to 40 guests. From sit down birthdays or end of year dinners to cocktail parties there are a variety of packages that can be tailored to suit your preferences.
